MeS Virtual Terminal Memo/Authorization Response List

This list includes all the possible values that might be displayed in the Memo column of the batch management screen. In some cases more than one value will be displayed.

Contact the MeS Virtual Terminal Customer Care.

04 Hold-Call

Hold the card, and call the voice authorization center.

05 Decline

Do not accept card.

06 Error

Contact the MeS Virtual Terminal Customer Care.

07 Hold-Call

Hold the card, and call the voice authorization center.

12 Invalid Trans

Invalid transaction type for this card. Treat as a decline.

13 Amount Error

Amount of transaction not valid. Treat as a decline.

14 Card No. Error

Card number not valid. Treat as a decline.

15 No Such Issuer

Invalid card. Treat as a decline.

19 Re Enter

Try the card again.

41 Hold-Call

Hold the card, and call the voice authorization center.

43 Hold Call

Hold the card, and call the voice authorization center.

51 Decline

Do not accept card.

52 No Check Account

Invalid account. Treat as a decline.

54 Expired Card

Card is expired. Do not accept card.

55 Wrong Pin

Pin number entered is invalid.

57 Serv Not Allowed

Invalid transaction type for this card. Treat as a decline.

61 Decline

Do not accept card.

62 Decline

Do not accept card.

65 Decline

Do not accept card.

78 Decline

Do not accept card.

82 Cashback Not App

Cash back not available on card. Re-try without cash back.

91 No Reply

Try the card again.

96 System Error

Issuer's authorization system is down. Retry card later.

Amt of all line item not equal txn amt

Level 3 line item amounts do not add up to total transaction
amount. Fix the Level 3 line items.

Auth Exceed 5 Days

The transaction has been sitting in the current batch for
more than 5 days past the authorization.

Auth Exceed 7 Days

The transaction has been sitting in the current batch for
more than 7 days past the authorization.

auth/settle amt difference

There is a difference between the original authorization
amount and the amount that will be settled.

Card OK

Card validation is ok. No reason to decline.

Credited MM/DD/YY

Transaction was credited on date listed.

Incomplete Level 3 Record

Level 3 record is not complete. Finish entering the Level 3
data.

Incomplete Level3 Data

Level 3 record is not complete. Finish entering the Level 3
data.

Level 3 LineItem Cnt mismatch

The Level 3 line item count, and actual number of line items
does not match.

Missing Information

Commercial card Level 2 data has not been entered.

N7 Decline

CVV2 value submitted is invalid. Treat as a decline.
